Quotation Marks - Quoted Material

(a.)  When the speaker quotes from previous testimony, indent as you would for regular Q&A, using quotation marks before each quoted question and answer, and closing quotation marks at the end of the entire passage.

Example:

Q.  I am reading from page 37 of your previous deposition:

“QUESTION:  And did Dr. Smith perform the surgery?

“ANSWER:  Yes.

“QUESTION:  Are those our handwritten notes of that surgery in your lap?

“ANSWER:  Yes.”
